Tricia's Words, Void of Content
Art Source: Duy Huynh
She has withered,
Becoming a human sheath,
Void of content.
Blown by the wind,
She hopes, at each momentary landing,
To be filled with insight,
Once again buoyantly grounded.
But her spiritual angst
Has become impossible to unwind
She is pared down to the essentials
The struggle of light versus dark
Is endless, until it becomes
A struggle no more.

Gradual Baptism
The rain falls blessedly onto my heaven bound third-eye. Drop by drop it cleanses my stubborn and controlling vision. It’s difficult to see what the Universe has planned around all the visions I have created for myself. The tiny splashes offer a gradual baptism, a clarity. I finally drop the reins.

Guilt is the price we pay willingly for doing what we are going to do anyway.
Find Someone With Whom You Resonate
If you do not have a person in your life that reminds you how fabulous you are on a pretty regular basis,
I suggest expanding your circle.

Tricia's Words-- Love Of Self
Vulnerability is mine and mine alone.
It taunts my confidence.
Tears at my peace.
It’s a grenade of dissatisfaction.
Aimed at the landscape of my soul.
I know of its deep-seated root.
I give it it’s warranted respect.
Like the pain that I want to ease.
I am certain I will find the strength.
To bury it in its appropriate resting place.
Bless it.
Cover it with Mother Earth.
Water it with the heaven’s rain.
As it transforms it into the beauty that is—
Love of Self.

A Hope For Your Day
I hope today is a day that reminds you how beautiful you are.
I hope today is a day that calms you through random harmonious sounds of nature.
I hope today you offer up a single act of kindness that shines a light on your true purpose.
I hope today reminds you of just how worthy you are of all good things.

Lokah Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu-- The Meaning
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”
Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962)
One thing life taught me— if you are interested you never have to look for new interests. They come to you.
Expression Not Suppression
Art Source: Terrence Osborne
I don’t need people in my life that want me to be quiet.
I don’t need anyone in my life to tell me to tone it down.
No thanks.
I allowed hollow, critical voices to corner me into silence for years,
I listened. I absorbed, I acquiesced.
Worse yet, I apologized..
I didn’t then understand—
Strengthening my voice is integral to my spiritual evolution.
It must be free or there will be trouble.
And to those in my past that attempted to quiet me?
I bless them, silently, on their way.

A Poem by Margaret Dubay Mikus-- I Am Willing To Release
Some Things I Know About Muscles
— They love oxygen.
— They want to move.
— They are incredibly resilient & very willing to heal— with proper encouragement.
— Chronic emotional pain & stress, unexpressed, not dealt with, can lodge in the muscle tissue, restricting range of motion.
— If you massage them they will love you.

May Lamberton Becker (Quote) 1873-1958)
We grow neither better nor worse as we get old, but more like ourselves.
Breathe
Start with the breath. With everything that occurs take a deep breath. For joy— it will help you savor, for angst— it will help diffuse it. Make it an intentional practice. It’s free & effective. Give it a shot.

If I Clear All the Hurdles
Sunrise on Panting Ground
Here I stand 60 years old
Wondering if I’ll clear all the hurdles
My pace has been steady up to this point
And my dreams have yet to curdle
I know of others in this same class
They’ve fallen to their knees
Their hearts, their livers, or their wills give out
No longer caring to appease
The terrain gets rocky at unexpected bends
Storms stir up after making tough amends
Breathe into pain, stretch away from doubt
Finish the race with an ethereal shout
I know I’ll swirl in the freedom of knowing
Any nagging doubts were amiss
It was really about trusting my gut to lead
And never shunning the bliss
I’ll climb onto the medal stand
As the gold is laid upon me
The segments of my life well lived
May they travel well beyond me
Now I’m a free flying spirit
No chains of humanity bind me
Will I move up with a cosmic thrust
Or will the next mystery unwind me?
We’ll see.

Keeping Our Energy Intact
Art Source: Elisabeth Handelsby
Affirmed to me month after month, year after year is that we are here to uncover our authentic selves. We must be who we are, no side-stepping, no back tracking. Another cannot tell us which path to take or what direction we should head— but oh will they will try. Let’s move past those needy souls, peacefully, and instead travel alongside those with whom we resonate— those who feel the same sense of rhythm, those that ride the same wave of divine energy as we, those who understand that they don’t need to tell us where to go or how to get there, but instead offer love & support as we travel our own road no matter how rocky it may sometimes be. How do we deal with those those energy thieves who will be near, those who will inevitably occupy our physical spaces, like moms & dads, sisters & brothers or sometimes spouses? In my experience, with practice we can fortify ourselves energetically— be in one’s physical presence, but remain whole & unaffected by any offered bullshit. We can keep our energy intact and not dole it out willingly to those desperate others who consistently look outside themselves for that which, we understand, they can only find within.
As always I wish you an ever-clearing path towards a deeper understanding of who you are and what you have to offer this world, and may you allow no one to drag you away from your own beautiful, sustaining vitality, or stop you from enjoying the hell out of your life in this moment, being exactly who you are meant to be.
Remember, energy flows where your focus goes.
With Gratitude,
Tricia —
Holy Ground
Stepanka Pavlikova Art
See the beauty through the wrath
Feel the grace of the forgiving path
Visit the splendor as you walk
Each foot down no need to talk
Life, the gift, is felt within
Your inner sanctum a place to begin
To witness blessings all around
A divine uncovering of Holy Ground
