Tricia Schwaba is a Yoga Teacher, Writer & Mystic and a retired Myofascial Therapist. She helps students & clients increase essential awareness of their own being, bringing that understanding into their everyday lives. Hers is a holistic perspective. “Nothing is ever just physical, or just emotional. These 2 aspects of existence are intrinsically linked and when self care practices are chosen from this whole life perspective they are more effective, more enjoyable and more likely to create the change we all seek.”
Tricia studied dance & physical education at the University of Illinois, Champaign- Urbana.
She attended Chicago School of Massage Therapy, running a successful healing practice on the north shore of Chicago for nearly 3 decades. She studied Healing Touch at the Colorado Center for Healing Touch, incorporating this energetic philosophy of self-healing into her teachings.
Next came yoga training at Kanyakumari Ayurvedic Healing Center outside Milwaukee, WI. after which she brought her perspective to the mat. She created Bright Blue Sage Yoga & Wellness in Buffalo Grove, IL. where she taught for 4 years, further honing her healing philosophy.
Healing— her own & her clients’ was her focus as she traversed her 30’s, 40’s & 50’s. Now into her 60’s, she is in the throes of the challenging part— staying vital into her later years. So far, so good.
Tricia currently teaches online & in person through yoga, workshops and private healing sessions, guiding others towards awareness, strength, balance & vitality. She is piecing together her first book— a guide for peaceful living— reflections on simple self-care practices and how they can dramatically enhance life for all, bringing movement where there was stagnancy, calm where there was chaos and promoting pure & simple love of self.
