Let's Take a Collective Breath

We all have an inherent power that when honored reminds us that it’s not about how much stuff we acquire, how big our houses are, or how line-free we stay as we venture towards our later years. It’s about how much we love & are loved. Are we daring with our loving proclamations? If not then why not? Do we offer our feelings up for those we love to receive? Maybe the better question is “Are we clear on what we feel?” :O Can we stop the distracting madness of the day to say to those we love—

“Wait! Let’s take a collective breath, see the beauty that is right here, right now and remember why we are here.”

Pumpkin Triangles Recipe :)

This recipe is the easiest— & it’s delicious. I have tried it with Cinnamon Butter Cream Frosting but the cake is so moist that it really doesn’t need it. It’s adaptable, so be creative. If you want to top it off with some sweet I suggest sprinkling it with some coarse sugar when it is just warm.

A couple of adaptations I make:

I use avocado oil or grape seed oil in lieu of canola. They are healthier and do not change the quality of the finished product.
and—
I always cut my cake pieces into triangles rather than squares. I love the way it looks and it gives a bit of whimsy, so you can certainly go to traditional squares if you like but the triangles are unexpected & were commented on positively many times by those who enjoyed my cakes.
Enjoy & have a joyful, love-filled holiday!
